Clearing cache - Internet Explorer
What is a browser's cache?
While you browse the Internet, your browser stores all sorts of different information in a cache. This information can range from copies of websites (to help with loading speeds), cookies, history, download history, saved passwords, etc. This cache will grow over time, and sometimes needs to be cleared as part of basic troubleshooting.
How do I clear the cache for Microsoft Internet Explorer?
- First of all, open Internet Explorer! Once you've got Internet Explorer opened, press ctrl,shift and delete at the same time - it's very similar to the ctrl-alt-del command.
- This will open a pop-up window with a few options:
- In this instance we're going to clear just the cache, so select the option Temporary Internet files, and press the Delete button, and you're done!
