Clearing cache: Mozilla Firefox
What is a browser's cache?
While you browse the Internet, your browser stores all sorts of different information in a cache. This information can range from copies of websites (to help with loading speeds), cookies, history, download history, saved passwords, etc. This cache will grow over time, and sometimes needs to be cleared as part of basic troubleshooting.
How do I clear cache for Mozilla Firefox?
- First of all, open Firefox! Once you've got Firefox opened, press ctrl,shift and delete at the same time - it's very similar to the ctrl-alt-del command.
- This will open a pop-up window with very little information. Use the drop-down menu to select Everything. This will give you more options.
- In this instance we're going to clear just the cache, so select the option Cache, and press the Clear Now button:
