Slingshot Mobile is powered by the 2degrees network. To avoid any issues when using your phone overseas, check the 2degrees list of VoLTE roaming capable devices before your trip.
You can find out which overseas countries require VoLTE capability when roaming on the 2degrees website here.

There are no reasons why we would block your mobile while you are roaming overseas. The most likely cause of your service not working is that you have run out of minutes or texts included in your add-on.
If you still have credit on your phone but can’t access any services, then you can contact us from anywhere overseas by ringing +649 915 7575 - bear in mind that this will be an international call to a New Zealand landline, so charges may apply.
From 28 October, all 3G networks in Australia are due to shutdown. If your phone is not up-to-date and VoLTE roaming capable, you won't be able to use voice services while roaming. If you find that your device is still blocked after you have enabled VoLTE – give us a call on +64 2 2046 4295.
